I was born and bred in Goa. I have seen the world, but came to appreciate Goa even better. Goa is beautiful. It is according to several tourists, "the heaven on earth", especially in India. I find that now Goa is overcrowded. It needs more planning. I see that in Calangute and other touristic sites. We need also good politicians. People who come to Goa will help us to realise that a lot of evils are creeping in, we have to be alert. Goa is very, very beautiful, provided that we respect the eco-system. Goa has a history. I am writing a book on Calangute village. How it is changed, for better or worse! A lot of cooperation is needed to keep Goa clean and tidy, physically and morally! May better sense prevail!
