I felt I was in a foreign country. Vasco everywhere it was a sight to behold.There were ships and great activity. That was when I was 26 years Old. I visited Goa after say 20 years. I was aghast. It was totally destoyed. I went to see Vasco alongwith my children to give a little I cherished. GOA was so much changed. I felt the industrialisation and using the port as a outlet for exporting iron ore, my God, it has totally killed that port. Money is not everything. If we cannot preserve, we do not deserve. What is there is life, money is not everything. We do not deserve GOA, I never pardon myself, such a beautiful place thouroughly raped and mangled. It is like throwing away the rich culture.
